i dunno, i couldn’t get into it. seemed like it was constantly ‘loading’ on a next-gen system that shouldn’t happen.

as for the PS3, in my opinion is way better than 360. has blu-ray, you can surf the web, don’t have to pay to play online and no red ring of death.

Another nice thing about the PS3, its’ blu-ray drive software/firmware(whatever it is) can be updated so it will be able to play all blu-ray discs where as some original or older players won’t(read that somewhere, correct me if i’m wrong)

I got this game a little while back. Its a great game, but it has some conversation flaws with the main male character not making sense sometimes. I’ve yet to beat it just because it can get somewhat repetitive. Awesome story though.

that’s better than the cheap plastic and styrofoam that you would find inside a honda bumper. a while back my friend and i got in an accident in his 93 accord going 15 mph rear ended the car in front of us and the bumper fell off. shows you how well honda’s are made.

Funny how despite people complaining about it car companies instead had the speed that constitutes a low impact collision raised so the shitty safety standards apply up to like 15-20 miles an hour now.

I first heard of it when I was working for a radiation oncologist who was thinking of using it for external prostate exams. He apparently thought “digital exams” (ie, finger) were better, and didn’t buy into the rather expensive system.

From what I understand, normal ultrasounds wouldn’t show what this girl has. Any current parents want to weigh in?

You’re right, the parents were selfishly thinking of the publicity and income their child would generate when they chose to keep her and go forward with reconstructive surgeries to allow her to talk, see, eat and live a semi-normal life. Of course, if I was in that situation I would rather be dead than learning how to dance, read and write, grow up in a family who sacrifices themselves to give me a face, a name, and their love. I saw a documentary about this girl on TLC; it’s not impossible for her to have friends.

In fact, her friends are probably more genuine than my own. We live in a culture where it is financially possible for the majority of us to spend hundreds a year on makeup and hair products. We’ve been accustomed to developing friendships based on appearance. That’s why many Islamic women feel we are oppressed. I spoke with a woman last week who wears a burqa, not particularly part of her religion, but because she feels it helps her make friends with people who won’t love her based merely on her outer appearance.

Sorry for the rant, but even though it’s hard to see your child picked on (speaking from experience), they’re still full of life and passion. I couldn’t imagine making the decision to end the life of my child merely because he would be a social outcast. I can still love him and so can the world.
