It is called the Villainizer. It is basicially a Jackson Rhoads that has been made even more kickass. Also, the company that makes it is called Thunder Eagle Guitars, which just gives it a whole other level of awesome. So Nine Inch Nails have released their latest album as a free download. It’s released under a Creative Commons Licence which mean it can be freely distributed.

“The show revolves around Ableton Live software on custom made super-computers, which we remotely access and control with Behringer BCR2000 midi controllers.”
2. SCREENS
“Next to the ethernet remote computer screens there are four Minimoog Voyagers, the classic analog synthesizers. They’re a 30-year old design.”
3. MOOGS
“We can mix, shuffle, trigger loops, filter, distort samples, EQ in and out, transpose or destroy and deconstruct synth lines. We keep some surprises on the side too!”
4. VISUALS
“There’s a direct connection between our rig and the lights and visuals of the show. The light and video engineers can also add or control layers during the show.”
5. SYNTHS
“Inside the pyramid are synthesizers and remote controls connected to the rest of the music equipment and computers, which are in rack-mounted towers off stage.”
6. TEAMWORK
“Working the music equipment, lighting and video equipment, and building the pyramid for each show takes around 10 people, including both of us.”

This was at my last show, last year. We played Battle of the Bands. We tied for first. It was my best show ever. I’ll never forget, they called band after band, and the crowd was apathetic. Then they called our band (next to last) and the entire place erupted. Surreal. That was the best experience of my life, second to the birth of my son (I got to watch the C-Section and see all her guts n stuff, that was great) We have a demo, I’m no longer in the band, at http://myspace.com/silencedband - I for one, believed we needed to flesh out our songs more, the other guitarist just wanted to get riffs out and call it quits. Creative differences I would say, the songs could have been so much better.

I’ve worked Smashing Pumpkins four times, they are, without a doubt:
“The Worlds Most BORING Band”.
He’s a heroin junkie. And yes, he is a prick.
Oh, and The Beastie Boys kicked their ass at LOLLAPALOOSA. They never should have headlined… they killed the mosh pit.

IMO, he’s one of the best singers there is, just because there’s no one else that sounds anything like him. The first three albums were masterpieces, not so much lyrically, but not many bands could have pulled off songs like Soma, Rhinoceros or Zero… if Billy Corgan were to die at around 1996, the Pumpkins would have been remembered as one of the greatest bands of all time… but, lulz, he’s still alive… think about it, if Kurt didn’t top himself, Nirvana would’ve been forgotten… anywho, Corgan is an amazing musician and writer… just disregard pretty much everything he did after the late nineties… he lost his talent like Trent Reznor did, but that doesn’t mean his old stuff is worthless.

I’ve never liked them. Boring music, whiny voice, just not my cup of tea. I do like that riff they have on that new song… dunno what it is… tarantula or something… it’s a decent guitar riff.

I used to date this girl, and she made me watch a VH1: Storytellers (or whatever it was called) with Billy Corgan; and at one point he says, “I wrote ‘today is the greatest day I’ve ever known’ while contemplating suicide,” and my girlfriend just stared straight ahead and breathed, “My god, that is so deep.”
I dumped her ass.
