The Mini turns 50 this year. It\’s one of the true icons of motoring, a revolution in car design, and the original giant killer of motorsport. I loved my Mini, even though it was, quite frankly, a little bitch, and I long for the day I can afford another one.
I\’m not a fan of BMW\’s Mini, which is far from the concept that Issigonis conceived; there\’s more space in the original than in the new one, and yet it\’s twice as big!

Someone is importing Saddam’s Rolls Royce Corniche Convertible from Iraq to Britain and is selling it on eBay. The page on eBay even goes so far as to give a brief history on the ‘ol dictator.

A military Vespa, the AMCA Troupes Aeról Portées Mle. 56 was used by the French Airborne Forces in Algeria and Indochina. With an M20 75mm recoiless rifle, it was airdropped as a two man, two scooter team. One carrying the rifle, the other ammunition. Hilariously, the gun could even be fired on the move, and it was designed as an anti-tank weapon. Can you imagine being the tank crew that were defeated by a scooter?

This is Lamborghini’s controvertial new concept car, which is the direction they intend to take in with their line-up. Powered by front-mid (meaning behind the front axle) mounted V10 and capable of seating four adults in comfort, Lamborghini are looking to push further into the market than ever before. And before you think that they shouldn’t be doing 4 seater cars, it isn’t their first. First to find their two previous, gets this grody old lollypop I found under the drivers seat.
Personally, I think it’s stunning.

A new image from Watchmen, appearing on aintitcool. The reason it looks like Adam West Batman, is (for those that don’t know the comic) this is meant to be the first real supeheroes, with homemade costumes, etc. I love how they’re sticking to the source material so faithfully.
