Ever since I got to shoot one of these about 8 years ago I’ve wanted one. I could get the semi -auto one available to civilians for a lot less money, but that doesn’t have the “Fun” setting for the switch. An older auto one will cost a lot more, but I’m willing to wait.

are you kidding me? you have to be licensed through the ATF AND the FBI to own fully automatic weapons. The background checks and various approvals take forever, and usually include body cavity searches.

Very concealable, but with the standard mag your pinkie can’t wrap around the handle. Just dangles there, can’t get a good grip. Now, with a 30 round magazine that problem is averted. (but you might have a harder time finding a place to conceal it

I carry a SigSau P226 and I highly recomend one, but a 30 round mag? If you need immediate access to a full 30 rounds at a moment notice you have the wrong weapon, in my humble opinon. An M-4, CAR-15, Uzi, MP-5 or any proven combat type weapon is what you should be holding if you need more than 15 rounds my friend.

Wasteland, by Anthony Johnston is pretty good. Anything by Ed Brubaker (Daredevil, Criminal for Marvel, and especially Point Blank and Sleeper over at Wildstorm) is great.

Battle Hymn and Hawaiian Dick by B Clay Moore are both really good.

Garth Ennis has also done Hitman for DC, which is good violent fun (and not related to the videogame). His Fury miniseries, a Marvel MAX book like Punisher, is also great.

And Jonah Hex is mostly pretty good.

Most likely, I’m on your side. I’m pretty liberal, but seasoned with a little conservatism I picked up in the military. Card-carrying member of the ACLU & EFF, and pay dues to NPR. Not a fan of the NRA, but I do want to own and carry a gun when I get home.

I’ve been reading a lot of Heinlein lately (on “The Moon is a Harsh Mistress” now), so I guess the personal/social responsibility stuff. It seems like a lot of bullhorn liberals are all about “what about me or these poor people over there?”, instead of “what can I do for my country/state/neighborhood to make it suck less?”. I think doing little stuff like quitting smoking or losing weight so the rest of us don’t have to pay more for medical bills is a big step in building this nation. This nation starts with the person in the mirror.

Yeah, I love guns too. I just don’t want insane people to own them (sorry NRA).

And I know we can’t pull out of Iraq safely without having some asshole dictator as bad (or worse) than Hussein to stabilize that region. I was completely against the Iraq war when it kicked off (I was stationed in Korea at the time), but I know we can’t just pull out everything now.

And even though I support Obama, I am very wary of his ‘Campaign of Hope’. I hope to get more substance from him soon; as soon as Hillary drops out. I’ve even agreed with some (not all!) things that McCain has said about the housing crisis and economy.
