   oh yeah- the .44 Magnum has hand made walrus ivory grips made by a native up near the ANWAR region of Alaska. He cracked both grips, and repaird them. This was hauled through the bush for years in defense of BEARS. Holster worn with genuine need. I am rebuilding it and customizing it for my nephew to inherit. (Ditto for the .45)

   Well, thanks for the welcome. I have a feeling I’ll be making a lot of observations, it’s kinda my thing. And, storminator, don’t worry… A lot of stuff is good, in my case that means mostly clothes and books. Mix that with an inclination for untidiness and you’ve got a very high risk of breaking your legs just walking across the room. Is your stuff that dangerous?

   My grandfather was a Major General in the US Army. The sword is a West Point Acadamy parade dress sword. He also used it for dress occasions throughout his military career.

   thors pretty standard but a cheapie.
   the mags are also pretty throw away, the top one could be something cool, a mag85 or the like, the smaller ones could have 1watt dropins or the like
   the antique flashlight in the third row in cool too

   if you want to see plenty that will trump this check out candlepowerforums… even my flashlight collection is larger than this and I’m considered a rookie by their standards.

   check out surefire for some awesome looking lights

Jimi Hendrix

The first shot is Jimi’s original grave marker. Then, a long time ago, some guys tried to dig him up. So they moved the body, and not the marker. Now they have erected the monument in the second photo. (Apparently where they had moved him to). The original head stone is there, as is the sun dial. And it is a family plot. This is in Renton, WA. The sad thing most people don’t know, is that his birth mother is buried in the same graveyard in a unmarked paupers grave. The third photo is the memorial statue in Seattle, WA.

Jimi Hendrix hated Seattle, and could not wait to get out! LOL

   Seattle Trivia: No cemetary would accept Kurt Cobain’s remains, so Courtney spread his ashes around the tree in the front of the yard of the house where he committed suicide. So, the park next door is essentially his grave site. (The yard is fenced and private. Just FYI.

   I agree, there are a lot of movies that I think should have starred both Bruce and Brandon Lee, I do not own the matrix for that reason. I mean dont get me wrong, the movies are ok with Reeves, but they could have been so much better with Lee.

   I agree that that’s an interesting concept, but even for all the “Whoa!” jokes made about him, Keanu Reeves is a far better actor than Brandon Lee was; and in a film where the martial arts were 50% wire work anyway, why bother with a real martial artist? Reeves’ naturally clueless-sounding voice was a major contributing factor to that film.

   Yes, it was about separation of church and state. They wanted the state to have less power over the church. People now think that the church has power over the state, and really its just that the ‘ethics’ of our ‘politicians’ have to do with their ‘religion’ and use their ‘religion’ to say why they have those ethics. I think what we need is separation of state and politicians.

   This is where all those asshats really screw up on their constitutional history about the so-called “seperation of church and state” idea. It’s really about the government not creating an official state religion, it’s not about completely taking all religous aspects out of our government.
