I agree. I think Darwinisms only legitimate definition is the classical one, where individuals/species that posses the genetic/physical/intellectual capacity to survive a given environment will outlive any that don't. Social Darwinism may include a sociocultural component that is not explicitly described in the classical definition, however it is, at best, simply a specific case of the original.

I disagree. Survival of the fittest has nothing to do with being fair. Darwinism does not have a "fairness" component. It is a process whose outcome is the result of any arbitrary number of environmental and/or genetic factors. The concept of what is "fair" simply cannot be defined in this paradigm, either at an individual or social level. Being natural does not make a difference one way or another, as our concept of fairness cannot be defined from a naturalistic standpoint either.

I understand what you are saying Nyoks, however I think what you are talking abut might better be described as natural variation, not chaos. Variation in the midst of stability is certainly a good thing, however chaos, by definition, does not possess any component of stability whatsoever. I think people use the term chaos a little too loosely...

   HA!! Anyone old enough to remember the Lamborghini Portofino 4 door concept back in the 80′s?? 4 clam shell doors. Was bad ass till about 6 years later Chrysler unveiled it as their Dodge Intrepid and Concorde models what a disappointment

   Google “Lamborghini Portofino concept” and then Dodge Intrepid and compare the similarities minus the cool doors.

   Having your thumb on some eyeball scroll wheel thing seems like it would cause the scroll wheel to be going all the time. Personally I have big ol hands, and cant “grip” the mouse with my palm, I use my thumb and pinky.

   Not to mention it already has a scroll wheel. Whatever. My G5 is more than enough.

   I had a silverstone wireless mouse, it was ok but would freak out, lose control and randomly spin me round in game, annoying. That actually looks like a really nice mouse, plenty of buttons and a weird goggly eye thing. Not sure how that would work, but an interesting idea.

   Will also be sticking to my G5 for now.

   My guess is that it’s more of a track ball than a scroll wheel. Could be used for Extra range of motion in some games. Like twisting a joystick gives you rudder controll while moving the stick controlls the flaps. Just a guess. Handy when performing barrel rolls.

    No, you don’t need two rear view mirrors. I take the doors off my jeep all the time with mirrors. In fact, you can get away with removing a lot of “essentials” and still be road worthy. Though, in Texas, people have a little more common sense when driving. Guess that’s why we get to go 70mph, aka 120 on the highway and get away with it.

    Speaking of how awesome driving is in Texas, had a friend of mine one time have some jackass do the Lame ass Nascar side to side behind him. He was in his Corvette so he thought some moron was being stupid with theirs. So, he floored it, got up to 140, and the jackass kept up. Then, out of nowhere, the “jackass” flips his lights on, and pulls him over. DPS in one of their corvettes told ‘em never to do that crap again and let him off.

    O, and he accidentally a coca cola bottle too. d:

   while i do respect the laid back, get-to-it-when-i get-to-it kind of procrastination, i’ve always been a member of the “using more effort to avoid the task at hand than it would take to actually do it” school.
   This generally involves the fabrication of documents to back up excuses, twisting the truth about the nature of the assignment “as it was communicated to me,” and/or the creation of decoy documents or products that were handed in “by mistake” (thus stalling the deadline until the “error” is discovered)

   My favorite example of pointless work avoidance:
   I turned in two pages of a 15 page English paper with about 10 pages of a paper my younger brother had written on the topic of Finance. The excuse of a “printing mix up” at my house when the error was discovered a week and a half after the deadline earned me no penalties from one of the strictest profs. I spent the free time playing bejeweled, putting off finishing until the mix up was found out.

   To be honest, my entire post-middle-school academic career has just been one long strand of procrastination. To even try to pick out one isolated incident would be like picking a needle out of a needlestack. It’s the massiveness and momentum of it all that’s so inspiring!

   Basically, whenever someone tells me how they’re such a “huge” procrastinator, or that they’re in such “deep trouble” for procrastinating “so much”, I have the wonderful delight of knowing that my situation is three times worse. Hurrah!

   As much as I would enjoy sugar cubed if I could, nothing could induce me to drink coffee (flat white or otherwise), which is strange because I absolutely love the smell of brewing coffee and will occasionally add it when I make chocolate frosting.
