Saw a bunch of people on Facebook make up these for their family name using the Game of Thrones house seal generator on www.jointherealm.com/sigil.html … Thought this was necessary.

Add to favoritesFrom jaypinkerton.com. I think someone posted his Spider-Man comics here before. He has a lot of comics where he changed the dialogue. His Batman origin is one of the funniest things I ever read.
This one was one of the first things I saw on that site, and it just amuses me to no end.

Cute Cosplayer

Add to favoritesJust found these while reading very high-minded and important internet things. I don’t know who the third character is supposed to be (I mean, obviously, Mira, but I don’t know the reference).

Add to favoritesI used to love Star Blazers when I was a kid. This live-action movie came out in Japan December 1st. I haven’t heard if it’s good or not but I’ll see it as soon as I can get a subtitled DVD in the US anyway.

Comicon Baltimore 2009
Posted in Images on November 11th, 2010 by Maxwell Edison | Report This Post |
Add to favoritesTook these at the Baltimore Comicon a couple summers ago. Just found them still on my camera memory card, since it’s been that long since I saved stuff. Thought I’d share. I think the girl in the bikini top was with a vendor, the other two were cosplayers.
And I owe Scott Kurtz my heartiest thanks for not spoiling the end of the PVP/Penny Arcade/Wil Wheaton D&D recorded-play podcast when I mentioned it. Because I could tell he was going to say something about the end of the game, and then stopped himself and asked “Have you listened to the latest one?” The end was much better for not being spoiled.

It’s nice to have a girl around the house.
Though she was a tiger lady, our hero didn’t have ti fire a shot to floor her. After one look at his Mr. Leggs slacks, she was ready to have him walk all over her. That noble styling sure soothes the savage heart! If you’d like your own doll-to-doll carpeting, hunt up a pair of these he-man Mr. Leggs slacks. Such as our new automatic wash-wear blend of 65% “Dacron” and 35% rayon – incomparably wrinkle-resistant. About $12.95 at plush-carpeted stores.

Pixies concert at DAR Constitution Hall, Dec 1, 2009. It’s the Doolittle 20-year anniversary tour, and they did the whole album in order. I sat in the 5th row center.
1. Black Francis in the center, Joey Santiago far left.
2. First bow before the 2 encores
3. Kim Deal is Gigantic (that’s what they were playing for that pic).

Add to favoritesFirst submission. Late to the game of the videogame theme, but the command line of the C64 reminded me of this old classic. I spent way more time on this than the complexity of the game warranted, but it was addictive, and there weren’t that many multiplayer games out there.

Love it. Adding to favs. I’d love to see another with a Segway that says, “I’ve made a huge mistake.”
