Pictures from a photo-shoot a friend at work did with my car and his (his is the 2006 STi). We found a great leaf covered parking lot for the one setting and another good one on a pier that jutted out into a lake at Nockamixon State Park.

     Contrary to what some people try to tell me about my own car, the spoiler is stock, not aftermarket. For the events I’ve driven in so far (autocross and a few drags) and daily driving, you’re right, the spoiler doesn’t do much to help. However, on higher speed courses or tracks (which I intend to race on in time and when I have the money) it will provide a tangible benefit.

     This is also a difference in opinion for many, but I do like how the spoiler looks.

Chainmaille Inlay (PSU logo)

For MCS Theme Day on March 1st.

I made this myself for my dad since both my parents went to Penn State (where I’m going to graduate from this spring).

It’s made out of a combination of bright and blue anodized 16 gauge aluminum rings with an inner diameter of 1/4″ woven in the European 4-1 pattern. It took me a little over 12 hours to weave, although I had to create the template on the computer first.

     Actually wouldn’t be that difficult at all to make. Wanna buy a pair? I’d probably do them with the cuffs based off the one wide thick cuff on my page: www.mailleartisans.org/gallery/pics/19662bcg-euro_6-1_bracelet_combo.jpg
     And then just use 2 short thick chains with a strong clasp in the middle to connect them together, or you could use a lock rather than the clasp. Either way would work. Stainless steel would be the best for it. Unless you wanna go nuts… I could do it with titanium, lol.

     Started back in high school in my junior year. I’m finishing college now as a fifth year senior. I took 2 jewelry and metal-smithing classes in HS and one kid who wove chainmaille came in to demonstrate one day. It sparked my interest and I self taught myself from there using mostly the website my pics are hosted on as advice and learning materials.

    Okay, it looks neat. But here’s my problem.

    I am so sick of these Mustangs being shoved down my throat. Every movie that has something to do with Cars always has to have a freaking Ford Mustang in it as the main, cool car. Screw that.

    Let’s see, Transformers had a Saleen, so, might as well be a Mustang, and then blasphemy of blasphemy, Nightrider is now driving a Mustang, never mind the old Kit, the Trans Am kit would whoop ass on pos mustang. There’s been several other flicks with Mustangs, and I’m just so bored of seeing the things.
