The bottom helicopter is a US AH-64A Apache attack helicopter and is bad ass in it's own right as well.

RE: the caption. If you can't figure it out from the other comments posted so far, the top picture is an AC-130 Spectre Gunship. The Helicopter is a Russian MI-24 Hind D. (Possibly the scariest flying machine ever built.) There are countries that no longer exist because of the abomination. Gotta love cold war era russian engineering.
