NI Tank

Soviet NI (Na Ispug, “for fear”) tank, assembled in Odessa in 1941 in lieu of having real tanks. Basically, a tractor with guns and armour welded on. Moved slowly but made a lot of noise, which scared the Germans. Possibly the most hilarious tank short of the multi-turret ones.
This one had its gun stolen, probably to sell for scrap metal.

     It’s not quiet, unfortunately. However, you can walk around fairly normally if you’re ok with breathing in a little dust.

     You don’t die, but you make a lot of phlegm.

     Also, it is eerily gorgeous. It came on in pretty much a flat wave, first no dust. Then dust.

       Yeah that sounds like it’s worth it. When you see photos like this of natural phenomena that you yourself have never witnessed, people who have, usually say it’s not as impressive as it is made out to be. So this is very intriguing, gotta go to Australia man. Soon.
