The water is about 200 degrees Farenheit (38c). It would parboil you right quick. Happened to a co-worker -- his dog jumped in a pool at Yellowstone, and he waded in to rescue it. Not smart, and the dog died anyway. He was in the hospital for a couple weeks. Ruined his vacation. :)
