I enjoyed this much more than I planned on enjoying it, I do wonder though if it ties into the wider Valiant Universe at all.
-
A shame the series is canceled, I’ve really enjoyed the 4 issues I’ve read. Luckily it’s being started back up with a completely different premise as “Ascender” with a world of magic.
-
Reading this while also reading the other Valiant comics coming out is a pretty confusing exercise, I wish they had gone weekly with this story and only released HWII stuff during that time period.
-
Hyper violent and at times I wonder if this kid ever ages. Time has moved forward for KICK-ASS, why not for HIT-GIRL?
-
I’m enjoying these IDW mini series much more than the official Megazine or even 2000AD, guess I can’t deal well with the anthology style of storytelling.
-
This War Machine story arch has been absolutely fantastic, I’m sad to see it end.
-
I occurs to me that I didn’t actually buy this comic but intended to.
-
This is only the second issue of Doctor Aphra that I’ve read and it’s ok. I think I need to read more of the back story to really have an opinion on it, but I really enjoy the idea of a floating prison colony that’s tub boated around the galaxy to attack pirate ships.

This has been a somewhat disappointing mini series so far. Art work is pretty good, but there’s something forgettable and bland about the story.
-
The original X-Men: Grand Design was a densely packed, fantastic journey through the origins and first stories of the x-men, this is a look into the new group of x-men that came around during the 70’s and it’s just a densely fantastic as the original mini series. Not a quick read by any stretch, I still suggest it if you’re a mutant fan.

Fantastically boring, I started reading this story because it was about a guy with a space suit blowing stuff up, this issue has no space suit and no explosions.
