If you’ve not seen any episodes of The Tomorrow People, they’re a poor man’s mutants, though in this latest episode they busted out the M word as well as “Homo Superior” which was pretty interesting to me, I’ve only heard that phrase from Marvel Comic television or movies before, never from a completely separate television series. The series so far has been up and down, but sadly mostly down. They’re mutants all with the same abilities, “The Three T’s: Telekinesis, Teleportation and Telepathy”, and in a few cases, friggin time travel (or at least, time stopping of some kind). The problem is that they spend half their time huddling in a corner in an abandoned subway station, and not really getting out into the world. It’s obvious that the show runners are aware of this bit of stupidity, a recent episode had a superhero in it, but for the most part, all these super humans don’t use their abilities at all.
At least there’s Alexa Vega, she’s looks beautiful in every episode that she’s been in.

I so very much wanted to like this show, but I couldn’t get into it. I’m not saying it’s bad – it just wasn’t for me.

I’d like to bend her over a barrel and show her the 50 states.

Personally I prefer the classic British 70’s and 90’s versions.

I tried both of them out, they were horrible.
and they had space aliens in them.

I’m a little bias as I enjoy old British 70’s sci-fi shows. UFO, Blake’s 7, Sapphire & Steel and the like. The 90’s version was something I never missed when it was on, although I will grant it doesn’t hold up as well as the likes of Dark Season. And the new version doesn’t have Space Aliens? Tch. That’s another black mark against it for me 😛
