Some points are true, some are false, some are just opinion, one thing is for sure – the author does like using the world “pointedly” a lot.
It always amazes me how Apple can inspire as much hatred as fanboyism. Only Microsoft comes close to them in that regard.

i used to be a mac fan-boy. i worked at microsoft, in the macintosh queue, and i have been using macintosh products since the lisa was standard.
that being said, i stopped being a mac fan-boy about 15 years ago. i was questioning the direction mac took when they discontinued the backwards compatibility for the motorola processor, and it has just gotten worse since then. the latest craze of unserviceable hardware is just the latest thing the anti-mac fan-boys are using to emphasise the “better-ness” of their windoesn’t PC… that, too is horseshit.
by the way, i’ve been a dedicated linux user for the past 15 years. it doesn’t matter any longer. get over it.

Silver Oak Casino (the name at the bottom of the picture) probably has a much bigger, unspoken objection in that Apple does not allow gambling apps into the Apple App Store.

Why not both?
Not long ago, the company I work for entered into a contract with a cell provider… as part of the “thanks for joining us” package, all of us employees were offered an iphone 5… I promptly declined. The boos and the res looked puzzled, so I pulled out my GalaxyS2, connected it to a PC on the desk, and dragged a few songs and a movie from my phone to the computer and back… I asked the rep to do the same with the iphone, and he couldn’t. (without installing itunes on the computer, and syncing the bloody thing) I asked why I’d want a phone that I couldn’t simply add a single song to my playlist.
I’ll NEVER use an apple.
