So far as I’ve seen, it’s all been pretty muted and humble, with the actual politicians turning back to the fiscal cliff negotiations and the media asking how the republicans will address their demographic problems. Compared to every election since 1994, this has been the opposite of smug.
The Dow creeping down. Layoffs starting. Fiscal cliff in 50 days. Obama care a reality (take $2500 out of your pocket starting next year). Tax rates going up (FOR EVERYONE). Energy projects being cancelled. Gas rationing in NYC. Value of the dollar dropping….and it’s only been three days. Yeah, you folks really “won”.
