One of my favorite movies. I also sympathize with Donnie, is that a good thing?

Thought it was a little overrated as a whole, but I enjoyed that particular scene.

Overrated is too kind; I found the movie meandering, pretentious, boring and pointless. The only thing I liked about it was Frank the Bunny.

Donnie Darko. Very good film. I’ll watch it anytime it’s on. Interesting take on time travel and mental illness. Just don’t watch the sequel. You’ll wish a jet engine falls on you.

I enjoyed the movie after I saw the director’s cut, then even more after I read a text explaining some of the things that are not clear in the movie.

Gyllenhall sells the movie. Without him, it’s just some tepid horror movie.
