Big Ben is one of the bells inside the Clock Tower.

To be fair though, pretty much everyone in the UK calls the tower Big Ben and I would imagine there is a substantial number of people who think it’s called that.

Because the Union Jack doesn’t make you feel like you’re saluting a cartoon where someone’s just been socked in the head in a candycane factory.

Although when you get right down to it, red-white-blue isn’t the most aesthetic color combo. But hey, flags evolved into basic, simple colors meant to be seen/recognized at long distances, so I, for one, can live with it.
