    1. So chick fil-a says that they are pro nuclear family, traditional marriage, and all of a sudden it’s hate?

      You lefties are out of your damn minds. It’s called the first amendment. I don’t like gay marriage, and it’s my right to express that. Is it hate speech? No! Hate speech is the kind of crap the Nazi’s used to say about the Jews. Hate speech is the crap coming from the new black panther party these days.

      The guy from Chick Fil-A had a right to express his opinion. You may disagree with me. You may love gay marriage and think it’s the best thing since buttered toast. If so, Great! I support your right to say it, and I don’t consider it hate even though it differs from my opinion.

      You lefties talk tolerance, understanding, and having an open mind, right up until someone expresses a view that is either (1) Christan (2) Conservative, or (3) Pro-Israel; then you all scream hate, racism, or bigotry.

      • Who cares if it’s hate. If it results in people getting denied their rights, then it is simply wrong.

        What is more intolerant, people making pictures on the Internet accusing a fast food chain of hate, or subjugating a part of the population because they don’t adhere to values that’s in a hilariously outdated book of rules and bedtime stories?

        Disagreeing is not taking away another person’s first amendment rights, or their right of free speech. Is that hard to understand also?

        • You missed my point Korinthian, the sign in the picture is clearly calling the statements made by the Chick-Fil-A guy hate speech.

          The reality of it is that he was exercising his 1st amendment rights in expressing his support of traditional marriage. What he said was not hate speech.

          Next, who is getting their rights denied? There are multiple states with gay marriage laws in place now where gays can go and get married legally, so how are their rights being denied?

          Finally, you rip on the bible which is your right under the first amendment. I support you having the right to express your opinion that you don’t believe in the bible, however I will point out that in every state where gay marriage has been put before the voters (including California), the amendment to legalize gay marriage in those states has been soundly defeated. So the conclusion can be drawn that even in the most liberal state in the country, the majority of the american people do not wish to have the definition of marriage changed to support gay marriage.

          To sum up, you are dead wrong on every point you made, again though, I support you having the ability to express your opinions.

              Ok, so they might have to drive a few hours if they really really want to be officially married. How is this any different than having to drive across a state line to say buy alcohol on sunday, or buy fireworks? They still have the right to get legally married, even if it means that they might have to travel to do so. As long as they can get it done somewhere within the borders of the United States, technically their rights are being upheld.

              The definition of marriage comes from the bible, which to those of us who are believers, means it comes from God Almighty. You can disagree with that if you wish, however, you also need to consider that the principals found in the constitution, was framed by men who firmly believed in god, the bible, and based many segments of the constitution from the bible, so if you’re going to try and discredit the bible, you are also attempting to discredit the constitution.

              Finally, the constitution also gives us the right to vote, and when the majority of the people vote in a certain direction, that’s how the country goes. So if the rights of a minority are trampled on by a majority in a legal vote, then it sucks for them, but that is how our system works. If the gays think they have it so bad here, why don’t they go try out the socialist paradise of places like China, Russia, North Korea, or pretty much any other country in the world where gays are put to death by their governments simply because they are found out being gay.

              They beliefs of the authors of the constitution has nothing to do with the constitution unless it made it into the document in question. It wouldn't matter if they were all Christians, which they were not. Perhaps you should check out the beliefs of the founding fathers before you make such claims. They weren't all so devoutly Christian as you seem to believe.
