Jew refers to two separate things, I don’t know any non-religious person that thinks that referring to a Christian child is wrong, but a Jewish (religion) child is ok.

You’re completely ignoring the general sentiment of this post; Children shouldn’t be baptised into religious institutions until they are old enough to fully understand their actions.
Also your sentence about Christians being the most informed is untrue. There was a recent study that conservatives (particularly fundamentalist Christian conservatives) were some of the least informed in the country, they just thought that they were well informed; because of Fox news…
The study also showed that Democrats were more informed of recent events, even though they did not believe that they were.

He is using Christianity as an example because he is from a Christian nation. So there is in fact no bias except your own.
They are the same, because they are belief systems, and just because someone pours water over your head and mumbles some words doesn’t mean very much really does it?
The Child has no say, and therefor is co-opted into something without any understanding or in fact awareness of what’s happening.

Actually, magnus-buttfoorson (along with Casemods and 2 others) is just an account that Tiki uses to troll his own website because the Project Wonderful ads pay based on page views (not clicks) and trolling causes a dozen people to start posting rebuttals, thus artificially increasing the total page views.

The main faith of the UK is Church of England, and off shoot of Protestantism, so although there may be other faiths represented there, they are in the minority.
Politics and religion are both faith based, no on in the Republican nor Democrat parties can prove that they are correct, they have both had their chances and nothing really changes, the exact same can be said for religions.
It all just self-aggrandising power mongers telling everyone else what to do, so they are in fact very much alike.
Baptism, is nothing more than a symbolic washing away of sins, the sins of Adam and Eve….I mean really?
