+ I don’t think that political system was democratic anymore.
A for the image, unfortunately it’s not only the American way. Bastardized version of democracy is all around he world. Hell, even former German chancellor called, then, president Putin a democrat without a blemish, or something like that.

America was and is not a democracy.
A democracy is where everyone gets one vote and everyone votes on everything.
Otherwise known as “three wolves and a sheep vote on what’s for dinner.”
We are a constitutional republic. Where the sheep has a GUN, and a list of what’s NOT on the menu.
