Why did the new layout going “live” break the old layout? Now, when you switch back to the old layout, the nice row of pictures at the top (that I assume are being looked at by someone else at that moment) are instead in a weird column down the right-hand side of the top section, with a ton of blank white space in the middle of the page.
I’m using Chrome at the moment, BTW.
Also, the comments in the new layout are much harder to read, and there isn’t enough visual cues to let you know who posted them. Perhaps a larger or different-colored font for the poster’s name? Actually, if all the comments were in a slightly larger font, that’d be kool. (And yes, I’m aware you can change font sizes and zoom levels in the browser, but it would be nice if the site’s default were a touch larger.)

it’s a new group of random images, the css code isn’t in the old theme for the new group, so I’m going to have to add that code in when I get home from the day job tonight

also, love the tiny print on some things, it needed that, unclutters the look. it looks cleaner in general.
I’d prefer the login to be back on the left, personally.

The Comments in the CSS seriously needs working, the white box just doesn’t fit with the rest of the layout and you need to give people without avatars some sort of stand-in, a white blank box looks ugly, but for far I haven’t found anything else.

In the forums the quote butto is just hanging around in the message, you should move it up into the same bar as the date or something, looks weird where it is.

that’s meaning that the thumbnail creator is fucking itself instead of making a thumbnail for you… I plan on using some different code for the thumbnails soon, so that will go away.

ok, having had some time to think about this, I will say this: I’ve been here since the old days, and since pretty much the beginning you’ve kept the same basic colour scheme. It wasn’t a special or amazing colour scheme but maybe that was a good thing. It let the reposts and hidden comments speak for themselves. But this new colour scheme says, “I am this particular website.” Is that really the way you want to go with this?

RSS feed is just giving me missing link placeholders until I visit the actual site – once I’ve been to the site, the feed viewer works fine for images I’ve already viewed.
