The name “Gaylord” was around years before “Gay” became slang for homosexual. What’s wrong with the planet is not the name, it’s that there are people who think a range hood might have a homosexual connotation. It’s a freeking appliance, dude -

I don’t understand what the fuss is about either. The company has been around since at least 1936, and making ventilation hoods since then. For people who haven’t been on this earth for very long, or are really lacking education, believe it or not the world extends beyond your limited, and sometimes hate filled view of the world.
Grow up, grow educated, and grow a set.
