Looks like a lightsaber to me. I’d like one of those, please. I was gonna settle for a battleaxe, until I saw the lightsaber.

Problem is, it only cuts through graphite.

Most people have only ever used a No 2 pencil, and have had no reason to discover what the other pencils are, so the cartoonist has made a joke about this by making very unusual pencils and assigning numbers to them while leaving the No 2 pencil as ordinary as it has always been. The fact is all numbered pencils are ordinary and completely uninteresting unless you have a reason to worry about the hardness of graphite.
