  1. This doesn’t really make any sort of sense outside of the IE one.

      • Funny you should say that, given that Chrome was just rated the most secure browser.

Do you have evidence that Google tracks Chrome usage, or are you just spouting the same old unoriginal, unsupported FUD? Do you have any evidence that Microsoft does not track IE usage? Are you under any illusions that you are browsing anonymously with any browser not using a technology like TOR? The NSA suggestion is just plain stupid – come on, you know better.

      • While I’m at it. What hardware acceleration are you talking about?

Are you talking about using GPU acceleration to make the visual experience better/smoother? That tends to be built into operating systems, and any properly coded application (other browsers included) will do this. IE doesn’t do anything special here that I’m aware of.

Does your PC have some magical piece of hardware that makes faster connections, lowers latency, etc…that only IE has access to? Mine has a plain old TCP/IP stack and ethernet built into the chipset…which works pretty well.

  2. If someone won’t even put their name by their opinion, then I have no reason to lend it credence.

  3. I think FF is the one which is SOPMOD-ed, but then again, I never touched Chrome, nor plan to.

  4. I would actually link Chrome to AK and Firefox to AR.
