Got an iphone 3gs (always rebelled against apple and the expensive contracts, but was £90 off a friend *shrug*) – went to set ring tone to an mp3 *drags* nope.. hmm ok.. *convert to aac* *drag* nope…
google… Ok convert to aac, rename the file extension, right click, set time under 30 seconds. Drag
Nope… *tools, options, view, tones* *click tones* ok… *sync options, sync tones*
Update iphone, custom, set.
Yea that was neccesary…… fucking apple…
I still use my mp3 player along side it because of itunes amazing features, I’ll pass thanks.

Meanwhile, on my Android, I go All Settings > Personalise > Ringtone > New Ringtone and choose from a list of all my mp3s.

Audiko made the creation of ringtones easier, but yeah, an app within my phone to select 30 sec snips of anything in my playlist would’ve been easier.
