I think you’ll find that Steve for men and virtue names (Chastity, Hope, Faith) for women are almost infinitely more common than Cletus (Cleitos, Anacleitus, Cleon, etc) but far less popular than Juan and Juanita in the south-east.

Cletus?Tyronne is more likely.
