See, when I was younger, a story about a young boy’s emotional attachment to an animal was harmless and innocent. Old Yeller, great story, great film adaptation.
But this? All I can think after watching the trailer is, “…and after they’re reunited, he fucks the horse?”
‘Cuz that’s sure as hell what all the soppy music and longing stares seem to imply.
