You know, the funny thing is, he’s most likely a democrat.
Sen Byrd was one of the most vocal opponents of the civil rights laws, as well as being a grand wizard of the KKK. And that is just one of the Democrats, the list is much longer. And as a party the democrats fought the civil rights laws.
President Johnson was recorded, and the recording isn’t hidden saying “Give the negro enough to make him happy, but not enough to make a difference” in reference to the entitlement programs he signed into law.
It’s really sad how ignorant the majority of people are about recent American history.
