This would hold more weight, except the upper ranks of the prosperous are full of people who had every last one of those disadvantages and yet still prospered, While the ranks of failure are filled with those who had every possible blessing and still crapped out.

Sorry, but I know to many immigrants that arrived with nothing and are now prosperous to support this. I can’t walk into to many Dunkin Donuts or other small business stores without seeing an immigrant family running it, because these people wasn’t fed the “Disadvantaged” propaganda.

Yes yes. However, most of “successful immigrants” have a strong background: good education, not only knowledge, but “moral education”, a sense of self worth and faith in the future. They have a network of supportive friends and relative. They are intelligent.
Fine. But if you have only an average intelligence, no special talents or skill to sell and are alone, well, you don’t go very far. Sure, you always can find a living, if you are courageous. But barely more.
Selfishness and egoism have never been qualities.
