Really enjoyed it but it felt like half a movie. Hope the follow up doesn’t take too long. Might watch ‘Conquest of the Planet of the Apes’ again today.

Andy Serkis man. He played King Kong in the Peter Jackson remake and Gollum in the Lord of the Rings.

My understanding is that Gollum and Caesar were done the same way. Andy in a green screen suit with little dots/balls all over him. It’s an industry standard these days.

Saw this on Sat – was decent IMO – definately one of three or something though, would be weird if it wasn’t – agree on the half a movie comment.
It has quite a slow start but I really don’t have an issue with a large build up for a movie like this.
Hadn’t seen the original(/s) though so don’t have anything to compare it to.
