No kidding. What’s most maddening is that our “Western Diet” is and has been catching on in the rest of the developed world. McDonalds in Japan? sad.

This photo, which I THINK is from the Orange County Fair, doesn’t do a great job showing the general morbid obesity in this area….or the US in general. We definitely have a healthier or at least thinner population than say…..Georgia or any of the southern states. But, standing at one of these fairs, especially in the food aisles, is like spending time at a freak show.
