A two-door post was required for a stiffer body in the Thunderbolt. Other “not-so-rare” versions came as a no-post hardtop Fairlane 500 and a Fairlane 500 Sport Coupe. Much more chrome. A lot of people have cloned the Thunderbolt with NOS parts and custom pieces.
