I had that gameboy color. bright green and all. i think it was the donkey kong version. kicked ass.

Yeah, I’ve experienced this a few times. Things I remember being great: Lite-Brite, GI Joe, The first Batman movie (and trading cards), that robot with the letters on it’s chest, seeing Jurassic Park on opening night, Creep Show.

FUCK YES.
Light Bright. The commercials made it look so cool with all the amazing designs, but then you get it and it’s a crapload of work to make those.

My childhood was across the late 80s, early 90s, so it’s half and half of both. Had Speak and Spell, Gumby, and Atari (from a garage sale). Also remember my gameboy color.

I never needed the speak and spell. I was born in the late 80′s but we had a lot of the toys seen in the upper half because I had two older brothers. The first toy I remember of this nature was an NES with Super Mario Bros. Nostalgia’d!
