i think its the difference between a pinch and a poisonous bite. not to mention that most crabs, when in the home, are welcome guests (as pets or food).

spiders are not poisonous..they are venomous..there is a difference..you can drink venom as long as you do not have any open wounds in your stomach, or digestal tract, and it not have any effect on you…poison on the other hand will if you drink/eat it…

some cultures eat spiders, and not crabs…

True…I’ve heard that tarantula legs taste much like shrimp. You have to be careful to burn all the hairs off, though.

I welcome spiders, just not gigantic ones or any of the more venomous ones. They are also often pets, especially the Tarantula and similar species.
I like things that eat the bugs that I don’t like.
