Leonard Nimoy > Zachary Quinto.
I know, I know, it’s unfair to compare him to the original, especially since the original is such an Icon of Geekdom, but of all the actors in the new Trek, I think he did the worst job. The rest of the cast managed to bring SOMETHING to their parts, but Zachary Quinto seemed to think not having emotions = no need to act.
Nimoy understood that there was more to portraying Spock than acting stiff as a board. Spock had no emotions, but Nimoy added a lot of subtle touches that breathed life into the character.

That’s not even accurate. I don’t own a pharmacy. Legally.

For the record, Spock not only had strong Vulcan emotions that the whole race works to keep under control, but he was also half human and got that plate o’ crazy too. The cool, logical honest thing is a Vulcan ideal, but he’s not a robot.
2. I’m not a trekkie.
