Darkness 1 was an awesome game.
Darkness 2 has me concerned for 2 main reasons:
1. Original voice actor Kirk Acevedo has been replaced by the overrated Nolan North. WTF. Kirk was awesome because he actually has that Italian accent that made Jackie Estacado pop with character. Now its just that accentless generic Nolan North.
2. Cartoon cell shaded look. Darkness 1 had amazing textures that made the whole world just feel real and gritty. Darkness 2 just took a huge step back.

Sales figures for The Darkness comic series for March 2011:
Rated #253 out of 315 titles released, selling only 6,482 issues for the entirety of North America, beaten by such amazing titles as “Captain Swing” (#208, 8,849 copies) and “Jimmy Olsen” (#167, 12,313 copies). Count your lucky stars a game for this clown even exists.
