    1. The model looks mildly familiar… Does anyone happen to know who she is?

    2. Hot.
      Very Hot.
Is that paint on her arm or a tattoo?

    3. Pocahontas wasn’t her name, it was a nickname – it meant “little hellion” or “little troublemaker” in the Powhatan language. Her birth name was Matoaka

And when Captain John Smith knew her, she was twelve years old.

By the time she was as old as the model she was married to an Englishman, John Rolfe, and living in England, where she wore traditional English clothing of the time. She also changed her name to Rebecca Rolfe.

This is what she actually looked like at the age of 21 – upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/5/5c/Pocahontas_by_Simon_van_de_Passe_1616.jpg/225px-Pocahontas_by_Simon_van_de_Passe_1616.jpg

The border says “Matoaka alias Rebecca Imperial Princess of the Powhatans of Virginia”

    7. Seeing as the intent was “to make the character from the animated film come to life,” I’d say “good job.” Fuck history.
