Auto finance is what I do for a living and as long as you did not sign a contract it will not show on your report.. . Something you said makes me wonder, are you under the understanding that you have 30-days to return a vehicle after you buy it?. . If this is what you were referring to when you said that you never finalized the loan, then you are mistaken.. . There is no 30 day return policy unless the dealer you were working with has one.. . A lot of dealers have 30-day warranty’s but this doe’s not mean you have 30-days to return the vehicle.. . If you signed paperwork and then took the car back, it will show as a repossession on your credit.
