That looks to me like a P-38 Thunderbolt, one of my FAVORITE planes. If I had the money, I’d love to learn to fly in one!

That’s P-38, but you go the name wrong. It’s a P-38 Lightning.
My dad was a pilot. He started flying in 1940 and flew until his vision got too bad for it. He quit flying in 2004, with a total of over 36,000 hours of flying time. He said the P-38 was the best plane he ever flew.
