    So Wolverine’s standing on the counter? Am I the only one who’s getting confused about the perspective?

    Yes, that’s right. Wolverine is on the counter. In the comic book universe Wolverine (sometimes aka “runt”) stands about 5’8″ to 5’9.” Juggernaught is somewhere between 9 and 10 feet tall. This is back when they enforced these things and didn’t make Wolverine flawless (also, they didn’t require their artists to understand the anatomy of muscle groups, but oh well).

    Haha, love it!
    Guess nowadays they need a “continuous red line running through everything vaguely related” and that means making characters all-powerful. They kinda made him the daddy character anyhow and if you let the daddy die you might upset the little kiddies because that’s today’s target audience.

    It’s not if he dies or not (he does have a healing factor, and they just trot Jean Grey out when they need someone to die), it’s that he’s always the guy that saves the day. Back in the day he was a berserker–deadly, but often outdone by cooler heads.

    To my recollection Wolverine in the comics was 5’3″, so I chacked Marvel.com and sure enough….”I’m the best there is at what I do Wolverine” = 5’3″, and “I’m the Juggernaut, Bitch” = 9’5″.
