I have to scan them. That trip was pre-digital camera for me.

Do you use GPS while on the move, or just as a reference while stopped?
I’m a new rider, I can’t imagine trying to fiddle with a nav unit while in motion, I can’t even figure out how to mount my phone as an auxiliary speedometer, let alone for use.

“use the GPS while on the move”
That is the point of the GPS, isn’t it?
Obviously you stop while you change settings unless you feel confident enough to take your eyes off the road.
It’s easy enough for me when I drive but I constantly look back up at the road.
Kid jumps out in front of me? Better hope it’s right when I’m looking up at the road briefly…lol!!

I’m on a motorcycle, so I set it up before I hit the road. there is one buutton I hit on the road that switcches from the above display to the map display. And this was a Harley Davidson GPS. It shows where all of the dealerships are.
For all road travellers- if you’re driving and need a bathroom break- go to a Harley dealership. They have big signs along the interstates. They have the best bathrooms- big, clean, and custom. I don’t use rest areas anymore. LOL
