1888 Illinois Hunter Case 17 jewel

A reminder of a bygone era of precision craftsmanship, pride in a quality American made product, and all done WITHOUT computers. I will be using and maintaining my wind up watches when the zombiepocalypse comes.

    1. I’ve got a couple mechanical watches. They’re both modern. Not as nice as this, though. One pocket watch and one wrist watch. The nice thing about the wrist watch is it’s self winding. The bad thing about the wrist watch is that it’s large and heavy. Maybe when I get back to the house I’ll post a photo of them.

      • Well fancy meeting you here >:). If you win the bids you have in, you should post some picks. There were some nice looking watches in there. And yea, this is Dave. Looking forward to reviving a few of those watches for you when you get them :). Think I’m going to have to post a few of the ones I have, now that my account here finally works.
