Oh do you use Chrome though? It’s an extension for Chrome, it’s called “Google Dictionary (by Google).” I used to use a translator on Firefox but I couldn’t find a good one for Chrome so I got this dictionary instead. At first I missed the handy double-click-gives-me-German-translation plugin but now I prefer this one. It makes me figure out the proper translation on my own, which means I won’t forget it. :>

Haha no it’s not true. The croissant comes from the Austrian version which is called Kipferl. I never liked Kipferl though, croissants are much more tender and don’t make you sick. In school we were taught that the Kipferl was a copy of a pastry the Ottomans brought with them when they invaded Vienna. Although this could be wrong because the same teacher taught us that our flag, red white red, comes from this Babenberg guy who wore a white uniform during his crusades so one time he ended up covered in blood and when he returned he took off only his belt and was like whoa dude check this out. This be our new logo.
