She’s an actress, it’s the norm. They’re not supposed to look natural, every penny she invests in looking flawless, however fake it may be, is an investment in her entire career. If you have a problem with the industry, stop paying for or promoting any media. Go outside, go to places where people sweat, nobody will be wearing any make up there. Like the gym, sauna, Sahara or some jungle. Sell your computer and TV if you don’t have the money to finance your new hobby.

Okay, when did being color blind (i.e. not having the form of rhodopsin that allows your optical cortex to tell the difference between red and green) have any bearing on telling green from blue?

Sarcastastic is right, there are different forms of colour blindness. It’s rare in women and when it does happen it usually is different from the red and green blindness like most colour blind men have it.
Light shades of green look blue to me, red looks orange and I can’t tell the difference between shades of beige and pink. I also just looked at the Wiki page for it, my doctor didn’t give me a name for it but based on the pictures I have a form of Tritanopia. (I can’t see the number)

The thing about make-up is that the choice of colors (i.e., purple eyelids, red cheeks and lips) was never intended to make women look more attractive, it was intended to cover up bruises and black eyes.
IOW, make-up was designed to help women cover up the beatings they got from their husbands. Odd how many people equate “woman who looks like she got beat by Mike Tyson” with “attractive woman”.
