I tried watching this once. A bunch of people I know said it was “so good” etc, and then a little while ago I happened to be on a long flight where the movies all sucked or I had seen them already, so I put an episode of this on, and…
Gods it was just terrible. Just another stupid pedantic sitcom. Forced jokes that are not funny with abrasive canned laughter. After 15 minutes I switched to jazz music, turned off the screen and spent the rest of the flight drinking red wine and loudly discussing desert island scenarios with my sister.

This show had such promise in the beginning. The Sheldon Cooper character could be so much more than he is, and Howard was a riot at first. Nobody is doing good, realistic, internet-nerd-space-geek-so ronery humor on TV. This show had a shot at one time.
The writers. Jesus fucking shithole, HOW are those writers keeping their jobs?!?!?

Yeah, it’s terrible. I know nerds who love it, and I’m like, why? It’s like black people liking Barack Obama just because he’s black. You’ve got to base your love for something on more than just having the same characteristic.
