      i was looking at either this one or a 97 1200S and i went with this one because its 6 years younger, has 5K few miles on it, and costs $130 less per year for insurance.

      i rode the other one a little bit too, and i didnt like the way the throttle felt. i think they changed the linkage between the first and second generation of bandits. this one feels much more comfortable and reasonable than the 97 did.
