instead i payed $300 for the amp (pic is $100)
$250 for sub and $100 for box = $350 (pic is $200)
Not only that, but the dual 12″ version of this polk db1212 was $150 or $200 on one frys ad.
Oh well..
JL and RF are better quality and should last a LOT longer.

Should’ve stuck with saving your money.

If I “save my money” it usually ends up going to groceries or some other un-fun thing.
Now I have proper low frequencies in my car, and money in the bank.
Saving money is not fun.

Hate to say well duh! But you get what you pay for. Who the hell is Crunch? Whereas everyone knows the quality of RockFord Fosgate and JL Audio.
December 4, 2010 at 3:13 pm
I am Crunch.

Crunch is actually a decent brand from what I’ve heard.
And from how it performed, I would have to agree.
Don’t confuse crunch with rockford fosgate’s punch though.
Also, never pay attention to “max” wattage.
My sub is 500w RMS and they can claim the max is whatever the meter hit at any give time – which could have very well been when the amp was powered on and got a jolt of 2000w for a split second.

crunch is a crap brand, like pyramid, and boss, very low end, used to be the shit, till they got greedy, and stop careing about customers, and products…
December 9, 2010 at 1:35 am
the one I had performed pretty well
it did over heat a lot but I was pushing it 100% and should have gotten double the wattage the sub needed.
but I agree, all old school car audio is much better.
then the entire world started making things to break to make more money

I remember caring about this in highschool (class of ’97), how does this shit even matter anymore? Seriously, people still do this to get attention? Does your car have a pointless “wing”, make believe rally rims, and the ever so laughable “tip” that is as useless as it is annoying? Probably.

I do this because it’s awesome to have a nice audio system when I drive.
Just like it’s nice to have a nice computer when you do anything that you use a computer for.
