ROCKY MOUNTAIN GIRZZLY BEAR
JACKSON HOLE, WYOMING
This bear was taken by world famous hunter and hunting guide C. Dale Petersen of Jackson Hole, WY. It is one of only two grizzlies known to have been killed “without” the use of modern weaponry.
Verified by game biologists, Mr. Petersen killed this bear with his hands, and oddly enough, his teeth. It is known that this bear had been aggravated by a group of backpackers, shortly thereafter Petersen, unaware of the previous happenings, came upon the bear. A fight-to-the-death ensued. Petersen, having his right hand and arm wedged in the bear’s throat, actually used his own teeth and jaws to pinch off the bear’s jugular vein. When the bear passed-out from lack of blood flow to the brain, Petersen beat the bear in the head with a stick.

What a Jimmy SHOULD Look Like
My old ride; about 10 years ago. ’91 Jimmy, 4.3 V6, straight axle conversion (Toyota front & rear), all suspension lift (no body lift), Turbo 350 transmission and NP205 transfer case out of a full-size Blazer/Jimmy, 31″ tires. Rear fenders were completely uncut. Up front the axle was moved forward about 3-4″ and all cutting was done on the front part of the fender (no cutting into the firewall). Kenwood deck, Zapco amps, Polk db component speakers up front and subs in the back.
I bought it in stock condition, wrecked for about $250 from PG&E. The front end had been crunched, frame bent, and the transmission/transfer case removed.
