   Plus the Japanese version of Powermaster Optimus Prime was called God Ginrai and could combine with God Bomber to form Super God Ginrai.

   I thought Japanese Optimus was called Convoy, and because of that I have a lengthy theory proving he is in fact Jesus.

     The Japanese version of the toy was not the same character as the American version. It’s just an interesting coincidence. Ginrai was actually a human with bitch’in power armour.

     The original Optimus Prime is. The one he is referring to is God Ginrai from Masterforce, which was not shown in the USA and is incredibly different than other Transformers series. Seriously different. Humans control robots. It sounds irritating, but it is really awesome.

       The strangest part is that the Autobots chose 3 random children to control the first Transectors. Why not soldiers, scientists, or even just adults? Did Japanese children really think this was a career option for them?
