What the fuck? She’s not racist just because she lied to convince the people. She did it for the greater good! Besides the other guy, Terry Goddard doesn’t even have a plan. And she certainly knows what she’s doing, she… has did what was right for Arizona. She will tell you that they have really did the best that anyone could do.

I actually find it pleasing in a very sick way. Never seen a person be so pathetic and not even attempt to make excuses or at least give some kind of half assed explanation. Well, something should be done about immigration, if for no other reason then the black market in smuggling illegals attracts the worst kind of criminals, who prey on people who’s only crime is that they want a better life so badly that they are willing to break the law to get it. We should just admit that we have a high demand for unskilled labor in this country and start handing out more work visas. That way they can come here without having to break the law, and the hardened criminals have to find something else to smuggle that isn’t going to die if it doesn’t get any water.

As always, people are confused by the laws title as to what the law actually does. In reality this law gives police officers more power, with little effect on the illegal immigration problem. Lets assume our gloroius casemods is pulled over in arizona, and being his douchy self, the police don’t like him. They can ask him for proof of citizenship, and unless he is carrying his birth certifigate with him, they can arrest him (thus allowing him to search his body and car without permission) No, passports and certinily not drivers liscenses do not count. And they most certinily will not call it in or let you go with a warning. The law is purported to be racist because they can use it against anyone to extend a terry stop into a 24 hour holding, and we all know they wont do it to someone with a confederate flag in thier back window, but instead to real citizens.
To be honest I was in favor of this law untill I read the stipulations it gives officers, it’s truley ridiculous.

I live in Arizona and I am glad they are trying to get rid of the illegals here. I don’t care what race you are but lets face it, most of them are mexican. Fuckers steal identities, cars, stereos, bikes, landscaping, etc. etc. etc… Yes I said landscaping my neighbor had all of her landscaping stolen and found it was an illegal family liveing 2 blocks away. Granted this is 1 case, this is happening everywhere. Not to mention the illegals here have nothing to lose so the gang violence has increased as more and more of these kids are here dropping out of school and no work for anybody. You can say what you want, but if you’re not here to see it yourself you should do some research or come visit for yourself.

I don’t doubt that there’s been problems surrounding immigrants, that’s a well-known in sociology, especially second generation immigrants if I remember correctly.
I wouldn’t call what you’ve done research though. It’s easy to get a skewed result if you just wing it. Also, confirmation bias comes into play.

I agree what I have observed is not research, I was just being sarcastic. I do not have specific research to show, maybe I should have just stated that was my view on the subject.
